BHP Architects was commissioned by London Borough of Enfield to design a 'New Options' Day Care Centre relocating them from their current base in the Claverings Industrial Estate to; 1-3 College Farm, 515 Hertford Road, Enfield. The vision for the Centre was a shared flexible community resource, based on healthy lifestyles that provide services for people with disabilities and at the same time incorporate opportunities for social enterprise. The Centre is also a useable community facility during the evenings and weekends, with an individual atmosphere, avoiding an institutional character through sensitive design and a welcoming entrance with a safe drop off area with disabled parking level and level access throughout.
