BHP Architects was appointed by LBE to design a new extension complete with a sensory room, new kitchen, dining area, ICT room, hall for children whose needs cannot be met in mainstream schools.

The new hall is a flexible space used for dining, for PE and as a performance area. It includes the latest audio-visual equipment and lighting and will be available for community lettings.

A modern new kitchen equipped with full cooking facilities means that children can now enjoy a tasty fresh midday meal prepared and cooked on site and it is no longer neceesary to have meals delivered from other schools.
