BHP Architects was appointed by Essex County Council to design and procure a new Primary School in Stansted.

The new 300 place primary school is located on the northern part of the site, as an 'L' shape in 3 main elements comprising, administration, community and teaching spaces. The classrooms are organised either side of a central spine corridor with rooflights providing natural daylighting. All classrooms are orientated to have views out to landscaped grounds. At the central core of the building are the media suite and library which are linked to allow direct access between the two spaces and facilitate ease of use and access out of school hours.
